<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
	<li>
		&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; On application to the Executive Engineer/ Officer-in-charges of water works concerned, water-supply connection may be discontinued temporarily. Prior to disconnection the arrears should be cleared. The consumer has to make arrangements for disconnection of water supply lines under supervision of departmental officers / staff with prior programme.</li>
	<li>
		&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Delay in payment</li>
</ul>
<p>If the charges remain unpaid up to the end of the said month the Executive Engineer/Officer-in-charge of water works will issue a disconnection notice giving 10 days time to deposit the billed amount .If the charges still remain unpaid, the Executive Engineer/Officer -in-charge of water works will have the right to cut-off the water supply connection immediately.</p>

		&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Temporary water supply connections can&nbsp; be disconnected after expiry of valid period of sanction. For extension of valid period the consumer has to take approval from the competent authority.</li>
